for Galician Studies is organizing a two-day workshop on Galician Traditional Music
with the musician and actor Mano Panforreteiro.
Mano will be bringing Galician
bagpipes, tambourines, tambours, ocarinas, Galician jew’s harps, finger
castanets, peitoques, etc. and giving our students the opportunity to discover
Traditional Galician Music first-hand.
The Centre for Galician Studies of
the University of Birmingham is pleased to invite you to an interactive talk on
Feminist Studies with Dr Olga Castro. A dialogue through which we will be
exploring the meaning of some of the concepts discussed in her last co-authored
book: Feminismos (Feminisms).
